RUROUNI
RUROUNI ( Eduardo Ferreira ), 23 years old, is a visual artist born in Santo Tirso, Portugal,
living since 2005 on a village called S. Tomé de Negrelos. Afirming an abstract and experimental eye towards photography, RUROUNI follows a work flow inspired by some strong figures in the Photography world such as Carolyn Drake and Gottfried Helnwein.
The aproach towards abstract, contemporary, sureal and documental photography
pushes him to try different things in different kinds of projects with the mission to
contain new information and new visual experiments with success.
While still young, he proceeded to take an arts course containing fashion, theatre
and the importance of an organized and active artistic life. He also exposed in Casa de Chá, Santo Tirso, presenting a photographic project containing only phone taken photos using a minimalist point of view.
While remaining focused on private projects and always searching for new content
and ways of visualizing products, RUROUNI studies Photography at Escola Superior
de Media Arts e Design - ESMAD in Vila do Conde, where he’s presented with ways to improve
his work flow and general culture and artistic vision.
